Four Roses Single Barrel OBSF 100 Proof

The Basics

  • Name: Four Roses Single Barrel OBSF

  • Proof: 100

  • What I paid: ~$50

  • Style: Single Barrel Bourbon

Just the Sip

  • A smooth, well-balanced pour that delivers great quality without the need for barrel strength.

The Verdict

  • Rating: 1 (Yes)

    • For $45-$50, this is a fantastic daily sipper. It holds its own at 100 proof and outshines plenty of bourbons at this price point. No need to spend $100+ chasing hype when you can sit back, sip this, and enjoy.

Extra Thoughts

As I sat down with a book in one hand and this pour in the other, I couldn’t help but appreciate how easy and enjoyable it is. This bottle proves that great bourbon doesn’t have to break the bank. While it may not hit barrel strength intensity, it more than makes up for it with balance and drinkability. If you want a dependable pour that delivers every time, this one’s a winner.

Hunting Info

OBSF, OESK, and OESO are new recipe additions to the 100-proof Single Barrel line, joining the flagship OBSV recipe. OBSV will remain widely available, while the remaining nine recipes will be released on a rotating basis. These should be fairly easy to find, but once they’re gone, it may be a couple of years before they return. If you're a Four Roses fan, don’t risk it—grab this year's releases while you can.
